Prince Abdul Reza Pahlavi

H.I.H. Prince Abdul Reza Pahlavi was born on October 11, 1924, as a son of Reza Shah Pahlavi
and Esmat Dowlatshahi. He was a member of the extended Pahlavi royal family and belonged to the later generation of Reza Shah’s children.
Life and Role
Prince Abdul Reza Pahlavi pursued a life that combined royal responsibilities with personal interests. He was known for his involvement in equestrian activities and maintained a relatively private role compared to some of his more prominent siblings.
As a member of the royal family, he witnessed significant periods in Iran’s modern history, including the reign of his half-brother Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi and the transformation of the country during the twentieth century.
Later Years
Following the events of 1979, Prince Abdul Reza Pahlavi lived in exile alongside other members of the Pahlavi family. He passed away on May 10, 2004.
