H.I.H. Prince Mahmoud Reza Pahlavi was born on October 5, 1926, in Tehran as the third child of
Reza Shah Pahlavi and Esmat Dowlatshahi.

Early Life and Education

He received his primary education in Iran before continuing his studies in Switzerland. Following his father’s abdication in 1941, he accompanied him into exile in South Africa.

After returning briefly to Iran, he later pursued studies in the United States, focusing on business and industrial management.

Marriage and Personal Life

He married Mehrdokht Azam Zangeneh in 1954; the marriage ended in divorce in 1957. In 1964, he married Maryam Eghbal; this marriage also ended in divorce.

Later Years

Following the Iranian Revolution, he relocated to the United States. He passed away on March 15, 2001, in Los Angeles.
